Kid Icarus and Smash Bros. fans were greeted by a very unwelcome surprise when they tried to visit developer Project Sora’s homepage today — the company’s website has been taken down and replaced with a short message stating that the development team responsible for Kid Icarus: Uprising has been dissolved.

Retail tracking service NPD has released their monthly sales data, and as expected, Mass Effect 3 was March’s biggest hit. Despite Bioware’s success, overall sales in the games industry continued to decline.
