Dragon’s Crown, the upcoming hand drawn RPG/beat-em-up from Vanillaware (developers of Odin Sphere, Muramasa,) has apparently been in development for quite awhile: an artbook for the game that was just released in Japan reveals that Vanillaware originally started planning the game back in 1998.
Earlier today Amazon removed the upcoming 2D action-RPG/brawler hybrid Dragon’s Crown from their website and unceremoniously cancelled all preorders for the game, leading many to believe that the game had been cancelled. Thankfully, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
