The heyday of Tecmo Koei’s various Warriors franchises (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, etc.) has long passed, but Tecmo is hoping to renew interest in the series by plopping some of gaming’s most famous mammaries into the latest game in their long running series of mass-murder simulators.
According to Siliconera, SoulCalibur’s increasingly buxom Sophitia is the latest piece of fanboy pandering wank bait err, I mean, “guest character” to make Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate’s roster. The Warriors Orochi franchise takes place in an alternate dimension, where the demon Orochi has gathered history’s finest warriors (in this case, characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises,) together to test their might. Given that the story in these games is somehow just as silly as the story in the SoulCalibur games, I don’t think Sophitia will stand out too much from the other characters.
In addition to Sophitia, Warriors Orochi 3 will also feature another (ridiculously proportioned) female guest character — Kasumi, the popular kunoichi from Tecmo’s own Dead or Alive series. Sterk, the knight from Gust’s Atelier RPG series, will also make a playable guest appearance.
Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate is an expanded version of Warriors Orochi 3, which was originally released for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U last Fall. The game is scheduled to be released for the PS3 and Vita in Japan this September, but a Western release hasn’t confirmed yet.
