Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, announced today that from February 26 through March 4, 360 owners will be treated to a major sale from a list of Xbox’s Games on Demand program. The service, which provides digital copies of full retail games, can be accessed through Xbox Live. Does anyone plan on taking advantage of the crazy deals? Let us know which games you’re considering picking up in the comments below. Recent domain name registries suggest the Next Xbox announcement could be happening sometime within the next couple months, with many believing April will be when Microsoft decides to show their next-gen hand. I only mention this because it’s worth considering that the next-gen console may not be backwards compatible, depending on how drastically Microsoft is changing the console’s infrastructure. In an age of cloud gaming, one would expect digital purchases to carry over no problem, but it’s still something to consider.
