BOOBIES: Dead or Alive 5 headed to Vita with extra features, Kasumi coming to Ninja Gaiden 3 as free Wii U DLC

BOOBIES: Dead or Alive 5 headed to Vita with extra features, Kasumi coming to Ninja Gaiden 3 as free Wii U DLC

Michael Lacerna 06 Dec

Lonely perverts with an aversion to real women, rejoice: Team Ninja has made a number of announcements over the last few days that should make fans of virtual boobies stand up (*ahem*) and take notice.

First off, Team Ninja announced that Dead or Alive’s popular poster girl Kasumi will soon by joining the Ninja Gaiden universe as a playable DLC character for the Wii U version of NG3. She’ll also be joined by Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword’s ninja-in-training Momoji. Both characters will be available as free downloads in the upcoming months, and Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi says that both characters will feature new fighting styles and weapons.

Team Ninja also announced that Dead or Alive 5 will be getting an enhanced port over to the Playstation Vita. The new version of the game will include extra modes, such as a first person mode where you can play from your character’s perspective. By holding the Vita vertically and using the system’s motion sensor to move the camera around, you’ll be to ogle the game’s women (and men too, I suppose,) with less subtlety than ever before. Team Ninja is also promising to use the touch screen and back-touch panel to “interact directly with the characters.” I’m sure they’ll only use these new features for the classiest, non-perverted purposes </sarcasm>. In addition to the new methods of fan service, the Vita version will also feature a new, optional control method that simplifies the game’s attack inputs in order to make it more easier to play with the Vita’s smaller d-pad and buttons.
