Just in time for Halloween, Konami has prepared a new trailer for Castlevania: Mirror of Fate, which reveals that Lords of Shadow’s original protagonist, Gabriel Belmont, will join the game’s roster of playable characters. (Lords of Shadow spoilers follow:)
Gabriel will be playable during Mirror of Fate’s prologue chapter, which takes place before Gabriel’s eventual transformation into the vampire lord Dracula. In addition to Gabriel, his descendants Trevor and Simon Belmont will also be playable characters, as well as the rebooted continuity’s version of fan favorite Alucard.
Konami also revealed that Scottish actor Robert Carlyle (best known for his roles in Trainspotting, Angela’s Ashes, and 28 Weeks Later,) will once again reprise his role as the voice of Gabriel Belmont.
Mirror of Fate is still scheduled to be released sometime early next year.
