Radiant Historia is one of the best original handheld RPG’s ever made, and now Atlus is giving you a second chance to buy this instant classic this March.
The time travelling J-RPG was released last year to loads of critical acclaim and a warm reception from fans of the genre, but like most Atlus games, Radiant Historia only had a limited print run that quickly sold out. Just months after its release, the only way you could buy a copy of the game was through online resellers, some of which were charging anywhere between 80 to 100 dollars for a complete copy of the game.
Thankfully, Atlus has seen that demand still exists for the game, and they’re giving Radiant Historia a much needed second print run this March. With the recent release of Kingdoms of Amalur, as well as the upcoming releases of Mass Effect 3 in March and Xenoblade Chronicles in April, RPG fans have a lot to chose from in the upcoming weeks, but trust me: if you didn’t get Radiant Historia last year, buy it when the reprinted edition drops in March. You can either pay $35 for it now, or like cult classics Earthbound and Mega Man Legends before it, you may end up missing the opportunity to buy it for relatively cheap and end up paying out the ass for it on eBay a few years from now.
