BIOHAZARD: Operation Racoon City

BIOHAZARD: Operation Racoon City

Chirag Naiknavare 30 Jan

From the original makers of Resident Evil, Capcom, comes another bloodcurdling sequel, Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City. This game has become the T-Virus of the industry spreading its name across the globe making fans scream for more action. The newest version in the making is set to be a total deviation of the usual single player – this time, you get to play as a squad – and yet another twist, you get to play not against the adversary but now, you play for the Umbrella Corporation. Be a part of the USS Delta Team: Vector, Spectre, Beltway and Bertha and your mission is to eliminate all US Spec Ops who are sent by the government to discover the truth in Racoon City.

Many think-on-your-feet action scenes await avid fans who pick up one of the special pre-order offers from GameSpot, Best Buy and Amazon. It was supposed to be out this winter, however, its new projected release date for North America is set to be in March 20 of this year and later on March 23 for Europe. There will also be a special edition which will be out in the market soon as Capcom announces the date.

The sound and graphic effects leave you gasping for breath as you struggle to fight against zombies, not to mention the B.O.W.s (Bio Organic Weapons) to achieve your mission in annihilating all US Spec Ops.

This project is set to be another success as Capcom is aiming for another multi-million revenue as it did with its previous versions though many critics claim the opposite, since it has strongly swerved to a new direction from the traditional narrative game play to a totally different make. Leaving players again in the middle of Racoon City, back to where it started – to how all hell went lose in 1998, but this time, you play to make an effort to hide what really transpired in the confinements of the city and conceal all evidence leading to the Umbrella Corporation.  As combat erupts, you’ll see how the action sequence has been carefully thought out and it only takes minutes to get used to the game controls. Once again you’ll find yourself shaking as you take part in another historic development of Capcom.
