Konami really wants the first 3D outing for Metal Gear Solid to be a successful one, at least in Japan. Along with the release of Metal Gear Solid 3D Snake Eater Japanese fans can also pick up a special 3DS bundle that includes real faux snakeskin!The black 3DS has a snakeskin finish on the top to represent the whole solid snake thing, and perhaps the fact that snakes will be in the game. Who knows the real reason behind this decision, but it certain is a unique piece of hardware and I am sure there are some North Americans who would love to show this off while they are gaming on the go.
It is not confirmed if there will be a US release for this bundle yet, but the game will be available here February 21.
