Many great games were released this month, and also some great patches, Modern Warfare 3 being no exception. Robert Bowling talked about what we can expect from Modern Warfare 3’s latest upcoming patch.
Even though the 1.03 patch was released just recently, there were many issues that weren’t fixed by it. Issues with the spawn system will be addressed on the PS3, and the map Outpost was given a fix because of players being able to go under the map and make cheap shots at players. Robert encouraged players to report these cheaters so that they can be given a smack with the banhammer.
Another major bug that is being fixed is the Stealth Bomber glitch, which gives it infinite uses and a ridiculously unfair advantage to the player that’s actually using it. Also announced is that PS3 issues such as framerate problems, lag, and input delay will be sorted out as well. Daily meetings are being held to find the causes of these problems and also their solutions according to Robert.
Any bugs you’ve seen in the game and want to see get stamped on to prevent people from putting them to use? It amazes me people would spend $60 on a game, all to exploit bugs at the risk of a permanent ban. I applaud Infinity Ward’s zero tolerance approach to cheaters, keep those shenanigans on your laggy, unstable, hacked servers where they belong.

take it back to where even you bought it. They should give you a new copy.
