Battlefield 3 Textures Pack vs. No Textures Pack on Xbox 360

Battlefield 3 Textures Pack vs. No Textures Pack on Xbox 360

Nick Hernandez 24 Oct

Sometimes I just don’t understand DLC sometimes and why it’s optional / not included in the game and the “optional” textures pack for Battlefield 3 is no different. The video below the break will show that even if you have the 4gb Xbox 360 (don’t know how you live) then you are going to have to free up 1.9gb of free space ASAP. If you don’t feel like watching the video then the difference between texture pack and no texture pack is the difference between Nintendo 64 and the Xbox 360.

based out of London, Ontario; and has been flexing his literary skills for about 2 years. Initially attracted to the space due to his kinship with the creative minds that tend to socialize through the gaming industry, and having played games all his life; it led to a natural willingness to learn more about both the people, and entities that drive innovation in the space. A self-confessed Conter Strike: Source aficionado he claims the aforementioned as his favourite game of all time, simply due to the sheer amount of hours he has spent in the game. An optimist by nature, Nick tends to see the best in everyone, even if they can’t in themselves.

Are you kidding me? You have got to be kidding me, there is absolutely no reason those texture packs could have been on the disk, even if it’s 2GB in size, that’s nothing these days!

Not sure if you meant couldn’t, but if you didn’t then I agree. There is way you could fit 2GB on an already packed disk. Though they should have released it as two disks but then people would gripe about that as well, since you would still require that space on your hard drive.
If you play a lot of games on your 360 then there is a slim chance you are running with anything less than a 120GB by now anyway.
