Just 4 short hours ago Microsoft’s official YouTube channel was hacked. Said hacker has deleted all the official videos Microsoft has uploaded and has been uploading a new 4 second video about every 45 minutes that are basically about nothing. For example, the newest video features a quick clip from Grand Theft Auto: Ballad of Gay Tony and the rest are just completely random. The hacker/prankster has since left a message saying “I did nothing wrong I simply signed into my account that I made in 2006 :/,” which could mean that before Microsoft owned the channel it belonged to someone else and a glitch in YouTube’s system could have allowed the prankster access back into his old account.
It seems the accounts videos have all been deleted, hopefully all the old videos get revived quickly and we will hear an official word from Microsoft on the matter.
