Resident Evil: Revelations Will Support the Slide Pad Expansion

Resident Evil: Revelations Will Support the Slide Pad Expansion

Chris Hernandez 16 Oct

According to Famitsu,a popular gaming magazine, Resident Evil: Revelations will indeed support the new 3DS attachment. The Slide Pad which adds an additional circle pad will be used as you would expect, it allows players to control the Y-axis which is used for aiming.

This is great news for fans of dual stick controls as has become standard on consoles. It is also good to know that games are preparing to support the peripheral that many feared would only work with Monster Hunter. Though some have mentioned that it is bulky and unattractive it can’t be denied that it adds a very useful functionality that the stylus just couldn’t compare to.

Capcom will release Revelations January 27,2012 in Europe and February ,2012 in North America. What do you think of the slide pad and it’s future FPS applications?
