Sony is certainly not adverse to putting out HD remasters of classic PS2 series, with Metal Gear Solid being the most recent to hop on the bandwagon. According to a listing on BT Games, a South African online retailer, the Jack and Daxter HD collection is set for a January release of next year,(this information has since been removed).
There was an official announcement back in May that a Jak collection was indeed in the works, but no official release has yet been announced. I am sure many Jak and Daxter fans are eager to replay games one through three all over again, and the sooner the better.
