Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, Dragonshard, Demon Stone, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape: Torment, The Temple of Elemental Evil, all of these are very highly-rated, well-received, and excellent games with dozens of hours of playability, a massive fan community, an equally crazy modding community, brilliant storylines and dialogue…
Some of the greatest computer RPGs created, and they’re all on sale on GOG.com for a mere pittance. 9 games for $34.31, thought you’d want to know. If you haven’t played any of these games, then this is the perfect time to do so. Normally this pack would cost you $85, meaning you’re saving a massive 60% from an already-generous retailer.
These games all run on an engine that adapts the D&D rules to a real-time battle system that works accurately and splendidly, with killer dialogue, amazing characters, and in the case of Baldur’s Gate and Planescape, hilarious and snarky conversations backed by very deep storylines that go far beyond the usual gigs of RPGs. They’re hefty in their filesizes so take note of how long it will take to download these fantastic games if you’re on a slower than average connection like me.
If you get this, I highly recommend looking up the Baldur’s Gate Trilogy mod for the Baldur’s Gate games, you will not be disappointed by the end result. If you were to buy all of these brand-new at release, it would probably cost you $500-$600, you’re welcome.
