IGN Hacked – Vulgar / Racists Titles

IGN Hacked – Vulgar / Racists Titles

Nick Hernandez 21 Sep

One of our members, doing their usual rounds looking up content for Gears of War 3 was surprised to find racist links attached. On the sidebar of the games page you would find 2 links “NIGGER TESTICLES?” and “HOW MUCH BIGGER CAN MY COCK POSSIBLY GET???!!!” and these seems to stay on the site for only a short period of time before the hack was fixed and was business as usual. We were fortunate enough to get a screen shot before they swiftly fixed the hack which you can view full size here.

We have reached out to IGN for comment and will update if we hear back.

LE GASP! You use… INTERNET EXPLORER!

Also, Zeal0us, it’s a known fact people pay more attention to the irrelevant details than the facts in a screenshot of a browser window.

So, uh, were the edit button and mention that it was a wiki page not big enough clues that this is just some idiot editing the page and claiming it’s “hacked”?

Huh, he’s right. Didn’t notice it was a wiki.
