PC Gamers all over the world, hold on to your seats as the most popular and arguably the best dark fantasy/horror-themed action role-playing game that the world has ever seen is now coming back with Diablo III. Blizzard Entertainment announced earlier today that the development with the upcoming release of the latest Diablo installment is now going to beta testing phase. The decade long wait is almost over, after Blizzard gifted the world with one of the most iconic games in the history of PC Gaming with the Diablo franchise, Diablo III is now edging closer to completion.
However, Blizzard stated that the Diablo III Beta Testing is still – at the moment – limited to Blizzard employees, close friends or family. The publishers assured fans through a forum post announcement that the game is edging closer to public beta testing. With this recent announcement, the hopes of Diablo fans worldwide has found new meaning, and expect the first wave of invitations to come in a few days. The news came as a thread post at the official Diablo III Battle.net Forums by Forum Community Manager “Bashiok.” The post also stated fans to watch out for further news and reports in regards to Diablo III’s specifications or information as the limited beta testing is going on without a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This means that any information in regards to Diablo III’s Beta testing phase is NOT CONFIDENTIAL.
Here’s how the thread reads:
FYI, we’re getting very close to starting the closed public beta test for Diablo III. You might start seeing some new reports about the beta client as we’ve begun limited external testing with employees and their families, and there is no non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for that. We look forward to sharing more info about the beta test in the near future. Stay tuned.
If you have a beta license, you are free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidential.
