Publishers THQ seems to have been ramming the pedal to the metal with its promotion for their next UFC fighting game instalment – UFC: Undisputed 3. The fan-voting bonanza was recently kicked-off to pick which UFC athlete will have the honour to grace the cover of the eagerly awaited fighting game. Fans can drop by THQ’s UFC: Undisputed 3 Official Webpage, drop in their votes from choice athletes Frankie “The Answer” Edgar, Jon “Bones” Jones, Anderson “The Spider” Silva, Georges “Rush” St. Pierre, and Cain Velazquez. Voters will then get a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas to watch the UFC 137 Live on October 29 at the Mandalay Bay, Events Centre.
It seems that THQ is really looking forward to getting this game marketed on a wider audience with these great strategies to get fans involved and even offer promos. Surely, a great step to this rising franchise, which has seen to be the fighting sport of the future. On the other hand, just mere hours after the voting opened, THQ then released a flurry of in-game screen shot photos that proves to be an added teaser for the fans as it highlighted the competing athletes for the cover design on action in the octagon. The UFC Undisputed 3 pics are looking great, and you can see it for yourselves on their facebook page; it seems like graphic quality is not an issue with this game.
After game develops Yuke’s laid out earlier that the main focus of the development is focusing on intense toa-to-toe combat, significant increased accessibility, achieving the best octagon style fighting physics and the introduction of the new game mode “PRIDE”. Two weight classes will also be added to the game which will ramp the roster of playable athletes to 150 UFC Fighters. Fans are certainly going to have to lay back with holiday spending and keep a few buck in-store for the release of UFC: Undisputable 3 on January 2012.
