Big news came out of Major Nelsons blog yesterday, primarily a wireless 360 headset that not only looks like a real Bluetooth headset but actually is one, something PS3 users have been enjoying the use of since the inception of the console. The sleek looking headset can connect to your cell phone or computer while also having the ability to connect to Xbox 360 through the console’s standard radio frequencies. The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth will be available for $59.99(U.S.) and will be available in stores worldwide beginning early November 2011.
Secondly, and less importantly is the announcement of a new redesigned media remote, that is more akin to a modern remote than the original white bubble design. The remote features all the needed functions such as playback, pause, rewind, fast forward etc. You can also access teh xbox guide and turn on and off your console. In addition to this the remote also feature specific Live TV functionality which is said to be coming to the Xbox 360 sometime this fall, which allows you to watch network TV provided by your television provider through your Xbox.
