Lately, many rumours have been circling about in regards to AAA 3DS titles being delayed until early next year, which would mean a huge hit in 3DS console sales for this year. Of those rumours at least one was true, though it only effects European gamers. Kid Icarus Uprising, the highly anticipated action title will be pushed into Q1 2012 for the European reagion. While North American’s will still be able to get their hands on the game this November. This was confirmed by a Nintendo representative that spoke with My Nintendo News.
Two hugely anticiapted games also rumoured to be delayed are Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D and Mario Kart 3D. Sega’s Shinobi and Cruch 3D have also been delayed until Nov 11, 2011 and Feb 12, 2012 respectively, with poor 3DS console sales to blame.
You can’t really get good sales without good games, so it seems like a catch 22 scenario in Sega’s case.
