E3 2011 Ubisoft: Rocksmith

E3 2011 Ubisoft: Rocksmith

Angela Min 06 Jun

The problem that came with mastering Guitar Hero was that, after all those hours of spent mastering the game, you still didn’t learn how to play guitar. However, no matter how high your score is for Knights of Cydonia, you will never sound like Matt Bellamy. Ubisoft has solved this problem with their new guitar video game, Rocksmith.

Rocksmith allows the users to plug in any electric guitar with a working jack or even an acoustic guitar with a special pickup board and play along in a video game. As you progress further in the game and get better, the songs will become more challenging to play. Best of all, after spending all that time mastering the guitar is Rocksmith, you will actually be able to play a guitar! The projected release date is October 2011.
