A new retail Trade-In program was introduced by T-Mobile USA Inc. which aims at giving the customers a way of purchasing new cell phones and upgrading to the company’s 4G network in a cost effective way. The program lets customers trade their existing mobile devices with cash which they can then use to purchase a new handset , including the latest smartphones running on the T-Mobile 4G network. The company has announced its dedication towards making the latest mobile internet services and wireless devices available to its customers at the most affordable rates. The Trade-In program will let the consumers offset the cost of a new phone by as much as $300 after trading their old device.
Devices from other wireless carriers can also be used by customers to avail the benefits of the program; however these devices must at least meet the minimum criteria, i.e. they should be fully functional, free of corrosion or liquid damage and have a display that is intact and in working condition. Customers can avail of the program at any of T-Mobile’s retail stores. A trained T-Mobile representative in partnership with The Wireless Source, which is a leader in the collection programs for consumer electronics, will determine the value of each device which has been traded in and then a check for the quoted amount will be sent to the customer via a mail-in rebate process. The customers will receive a shipping label, voucher and bubble pack mailer and then they simply have to ship their old phone to TWS as they see convenient. Once the device is received in a good and working condition, the customers will be sent a check for the quoted amount by TWS. Ami Silverman, the senior vice-president of T-Mobile USA encouraged the users to take advantage of the program to make the higher end smart phones more affordable, whatever their budget may be.
