Free 16 Bit Thor Game

Free 16 Bit Thor Game

Chris Hernandez 09 May

Last Friday many Marvel and action fans alike headed out to the theatre to enjoy a taste of the Thor universe. For those that really liked it they could certainly watch the film again and again, but that can end up being expensive and console tie in game isn’t much to appease gamers. There is another option to keep Thor alive and that is a free to play 16 bit flash game, Bring the Thunder, which is available on Marvels’ website.

The game is essentially a basic platformer, much like the the original Duke Nukem, before it went 3-D. You can use a power swing or throw Thor’s mighty hammer to take down enemies as you collect various fruits to build your score. You can also accrue lighting power-ups that will allow him to unleash an incredible energy blast.

I played the first few levels and got hooked pretty hooked, it will certainly appeal to gamers from an older generation, plus it’s free.
