Last year at Tokyo Game Show it was announced that the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection would be making it’s way to PS3 by spring of this year and we should expect The Last Guardian by the holiday season. Now, that will no longer be the case as Fumito Ueda(Last Guardian Game Designer/Director) has announced on his blog.
The reason being “to provide more challenging and better quality of content to users and to fulfill First Party Studio’s obligations, I decided to postpone its release timing.”, he also assured the fans that “All the members of my production team are working together at a fast pace to develop and release the game in First Party Studio quality.”
No updated release date has been announced at this time, but I am sure we will know something around E3. I was really excited to be able to get my hands on the remastering of Ico and SotC this spring, but it will be worth the wait, I’m sure.
