A tweet by David Vonderhaar, game design director at Treyarch, has confirmed that “top men with big watches” are planning something for PSN users once the network is back up to speed.
Players not missing out on double XP isn’t too big a deal (I personally just play for sport), but if the bigwigs are planning something special for PSN users to make up for the extended outage, then speculation will run wild. Faster respawns? More people in a single round? Triple EXP? A whole week of double EXP? I really have no idea, but PSN users wont miss out on this week’s double EXP if that’s your preferred format for playing Black Ops. Nice to see a company doing these little things for their users.
