The Popular 2D anime-fighter is making its way to the 3DS and PSP May 16 with a traditionally long Japanese title. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II will bring fighting action next month, after it has seen plenty of success on its console prequel. This will bring portable gamers right up to date with the series, including all characters from the console and of course arcade version. The console version of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will have access to a DLC update, so they are not left out.
The 3DS version is most enhanced version of the game featuring the expected 3D perspective, though is lacking online multiplayer as is the PSP edition. All of the rebalancing and engine tweaks present in the latest version of the original game are present as well. Two new modes, Legion 1.5 and Abyss, are included which will add even more content for the player.
This won’t likely make much of a dent in Street Fighters success in the west, but it could prove to be the first and most promising challenger, what do you think?
