An advertisement surfaced a couple days ago and was discovered by Pocketnow, which shows off an HTC phone running the Windows Phone 7 OS and a 16 megapixel camera. Now this is fairly exciting news if it turns out to be true, not only is 16MP fairly high for a smart phone but even digital camera do not come standard with such a high resolution. Though, a greater amount of pixels does not necessarily mean greater picture quality, it is still an interesting notion as 8MP has only just become a standard on newer smart phones.
