The very crafty folks at ProjectorGames have finally completed work on the first of several chapters of the well-known FortressCraft. The game brings the Minecraft experience to the console which hasn’t been done before and is already number on in ratings on XBLA. Currently sitting at 4.6 stars with 227 ratings, which is more ratings than the majority of the top rated.
It was mentioned in our interview with them that this would likely be live by the end of March, it looks like they are a bit over a week late, but delays are bound to happen on any ambitious project. The game is quite large in terms of file size as well, clocking in at 64.81MB, which is near double what most indie games are. So at 240MSP you are getting a lot of bang for your buck.
I tried the trial version of the game and it was quite fun, I am not really the creative type so all the options seemed excessive.
If you are fan of Minecraft and want it on a console type experience with improved graphics then certainly pick this up. If you have already let us know what you think.
