XBLA Triple Pack Coming This May–Physical Media is Not Dead Yet

XBLA Triple Pack Coming This May–Physical Media is Not Dead Yet

Chris Hernandez 01 Apr

Games and applications are gradually become download-only and with the various Cloud based service such as OnLive it seems inevitable that all physical media will become obsolete in the near future. It seems Microsoft is not yet ready to admit that future is a reality as they are releasing an XBLA three pack disk, which features three of the top downloaded Xbox Live Arcade Titles: Limbo(shown above), Trials HD, and ‘Splosion Man.

This boxed title will release May 19 for the price of $29.99, which if you haven’t already purchased these games when they were a Deal of the Week then you are getting a great deal. If that is a not a sweet enough deal then there is also the complimentary 180 Microsoft Points and a free 48 hours of Xbox Live Gold for your enjoyment, packed in the box.

I personally love having a physical copy of my games and if it was a compilation of any other games I would certainly pick it up. Though I already own all three of these. Which three games would you like to see bundled together next?
