Microsoft has officially announced the fall release date that Gears of War 3 was pushed back too. Septmeber 20th will mark the last installment of one of the founding HD franchises that got this whole craze going. Who knows what Epic games has done with all of the extra time. You have to remember that Gears 3 was supposed to be hitting stores in April. Could it be Kinect integration, or just a jam packed final chapter to one great gaming trilogys.
Considering how far out the release of Gears 3 is, their has still been plenty of footage leading up to now. Thanks to the release of Bulletstorm yesterday many of us will have a chance to play the Gears of War 3 beta this spring. This will give a proper first look as to how these dedicated servers will hold up, and a hands on preview of everything that is Gears of War 3. It almost seems as if Gears has taken Halo’s Septmeber slot for release. Who knows what Epic and Microsoft have up their sleeves at this point, I can sense something and just cant put my finger on it yet.
