Considering the only news coming out of Rockstar games these days is about their upcoming release L.A. Noire, its hard to believe that GTA5 news could be around the corner any month from now. According to an analyst report regarding the future or Rockstar, and the status of a few of the founding members of the GTA team, GTA5 may see the light of day before the end of 2011. The staff in question on the GTA team are the Houser brothers. They have been an integral part of the creation of modern gta and open world games, and their contracts with Rockstar expire in 2012. This would be a great opportunity to launch the next installment for one of the most successful franchises of our generation.
After all it has been over three years since GTAIV, I think the world is ready for Rockstars next beast. Judging by the momentum created by Red Dead Reedemption and L.A. Noire, E3 2011 is looking like prime real estate for a GTA5 announcement. Who knows, sometimes these crazy rumors are a little more on track than you may think. Just the thought of GTA5 before the end of the year gets me giddy like a school girl, so I imagine you need some time to absorb what we all just talked about. Ill keep you posted!
