Acitivision announced at it’s fourth quarter conference call that it does not expect to release a Blizzard game this year. It seems at this point after so delays we will not see Diablo 3 until 2012 which could still be the end of the world. So let’s hope we get it before then!
Now, cue sad faces. As I am sure you were, I was looking forward to seeing Diablo 3 this year even if it ended up being winter time, but it appears this news puts an unfortunate end to that. If there is indeed no Blizzard title in 2011, the company expects to have two Blizzard games launch in 2012.That of course is only a small comfort.
Activision also announced that it will not be putting out any music or skateboarding games in 2011. Not that anyone will mind much.
