The Resistance franchise has been a reason for me to continuously keep a PS3 in my life. First party titles always seem to have that extra bit of TLC throughout development in order to really impress there target audience. Resistance 3 seems to be a perfect example of that, judging by this gameplay Resistance 3 is going to make many of there fans happy. These few minutes shown below give a fresh look into the world of Resistance, and really start to shown the intensity of dealing with the chimera on a more personal level.
Initial trailers for Resistance 3 were hinting at making this title into more of a personal survival story, and not so military based. If the rest of the game is anything like this footage courtesy of Eurogamer, Im all in. This gritty more suburban feel definitely seems like it will take the gameplay in the right direction and provide a fresh take on a classic franchise that has helped to define a generation clouded in shooters. So as usual, enjoy the footage, hopefully its enough to make Resistance 3 stand amongsth the best in 2011.
