Just Add Water Working on Another Oddworld HD Remake

Just Add Water Working on Another Oddworld HD Remake

Chris Hernandez 31 Jan

A few months ago Just Add Water had announced that they would be remaking Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath for the PS3 while adding Move elements among the HD up-res. Now, they are at it again with the, arguably, more well-known Abe’s Oddysee. This is still a great idea to remake old classics that the younger generation may not have had the chance to experience.

In an interview with EGM that will appear in the upcoming March issue, series creator Lorne Lanning says, “Abe HD is going into production,” then adds, “It’s basically Abe’s Oddysee being redone in a 3D physics engine as a 2D side-scrolling platformer.”

I am hoping that the Move support is still there among other bonuses that have become common among other remakes.
