Today is the first time Crysis ever set foot in the console world, with the release of the Crysis 2 Demo/Beta we can finally play the critically acclaimed PC game on our Xbox 360 and it is starting with a bang. In this Beta you will be able to play on one map titled “SkyLine” in a team death match mode until you hit rank 5 or 6 then you will unlock “Crash Site” which is a capture and hold game type. Now where this differs from other games you will have the ability to use powers in mid combat not 1, not 2 but 3 powers all in one load out.
What do I think of this Beta so far? It is a blast, it’s fast, beautiful, and crazy. For any FPS fan this game is a nice treat, it feels like COD with powers, that’s the easy way of putting it. But this game does have its own identity, it doesn’t just get lost in the hemp of shooters that get released every year. Even though this is an amazing game, it has its faults. As of this moment close range combat is a little iffy, a lot of the times you’ll find yourself shooting just next to the enemy when he’s right in your face as apposed to actually hitting him but thats nothing melee can’t handle. Enough of me telling you about this go download it and enjoy your time spent in the nano suit.
