Well my fellow gamers, the official news is finally in. Today Nintendo announced the launch date and starting price for the long awaited 3DS. The launch date is March 27th, and will cost $249.99. Upon launch the unit will be available in two color’s “Aqua Blue” and “Cosmo Black”. This has been a tough piece of hardware to talk about online, because the “catch” with the 3DS is that you really have to see it to believe it. Looks like we won’t be waiting much longer to sink into the first portable gaming device with glassless 3D.
Developers have had 3DS kits for some time now, so by the end of this year I imagine some great games will be available. Regardless, upon launch there looks to be some pretty interesting titles that will for sure keep everyone busy. Some of the launch titles go as follows:
“Pilot Wings Resort”
“Nintendogs and Cats”
“Steel Diver”
“Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D”
“Kid Icarus Uprising”
Zelda will be a popular first purchase for good reason, last I checked it was at the top of alot of “Best Games of All Times” lists.
