Gears of War – Triple Pack Announced – $30 Next Month

Gears of War – Triple Pack Announced – $30 Next Month

Zack Dodge 18 Jan

Cheap games are great, cheap games are even better when they are awesome and there is more than one of them. The Gears of War Triple Pack was officially announced today and I must say it sounds pretty tasty even for a guy that owns all Gears content. For those of you who may have traded or never enjoyed the Gears experience, for $30 on February 15th you can finally check it out for yourself.

The Gears Triple pack will include both Gears 1 and 2, all previous multiplayer map add ons, and the expanded campaign section “Road to Ruin”. Considering the $30 barely covers all the DLC add on content, this deal is fantastic and well worth the price. No word if it will include any incentive with the upcoming release of Gears of War 3, considering the beat access will arrive with Bulletstorm next month.

This whole package just seems like a promotional move to get those who haven’t played these great Xbox exclusives a chance to join the party before it takes off next fall. Gears of War at its time raised the bar on the 360 and provided an attitude that was missing before the release of Halo 3, this has been a great franchise to see the Xbox grow up with and now for this price its hard to pass it up. So do yourself a favour next month and spend an easy $30 if you already don’t own these epic games (no pun intended).
