Toshiba has been proud to show off the latest in their 3D TV’s to everyone at CES, so we waited in line to check out what is was all about; I can’t say that I was satisfied with what I saw.
You have to have the perfect viewing angle, so if you are a bit taller like myself, then the lower mounted tv will just leave you disappointed as the image splits apart and doesn’t appear to be 3D. However, if I crouch down a bit, then the 3D effect from the screen looks decent, which is a good start. The quality of the video wasn’t something I would write home about, but it did get me excited to see how the future of this technology will develop. Personally though, I wouldn’t suggest the everyday consumer to go out and buy this item, and at least wait for the second generation of this product.
Are you excited for glasses free 3D TVs or will you always just stick with the old fashion 2d?
