Every now and then there is a game that is getting developed which then slips under the radar and turns out to be absolutely amazing. Sadly this was going to be one of those games, keyword, “was”. Unfortunately Ignition Entertainment will be shutting down thus stopping the development of Reich, a physic’s-based FPS. We now have the first look at this upcoming title and to be honest it looks amazing for a game that hasn’t made it through development stages.
In the videos they show the player who has some type of telekinetic powers, like Bioshock, but to a greater scale; being able to grab massive chunks of the environment and hurl them as your enemies or objects that are in your path seems fun enough to me.Little was known about the game as far as the story or characters but after watching the videos it looks like there is some type of infection and a government that is not very well liked, sounds a little like Half-Life, but thats okay it seemed to have worked for them.
