Xbox.com will be on its way to a hefty update starting tomorrow with some pretty interesting features. Avatar editing will now be able to take place inside your web browser, and it will also allow lots of customizability with items before they are purchased. For instance you can try a variety of outfits and items without needing to fork out the MS points on the spot.
Along with a revamped online avatar editor, accessing messages and friend requests will also receive an online update. All of these changes will take place over the night starting at 5PM EST. Even before these convenient changes had been made, I already used the xbox.com service for sending friends messages while Im on the fly and that is the best way to get some attention mid match. Its nice to see a great system getting better. Who knows with the launch of Kinect around the corner more updates could be on their way as well.
