This Tuesday, the 12th, Section 8 will be getting a 50% price reduction 0n the Playstation Network, bringing the game closer to the price it deserves–$14.99. Those who missed out on this mediocre space-shooter now have a chance to enjoy it in all its glory for a slashed price. If you end enjoying it then you will be well-prepared for the forthcoming sequel that has recently been announced. For those more sceptical folk there is a free trial of the game available on PSN as well, so you can try before you buy.
The sequel to last years TimeGate Studios’ shooter will be named Prejudice, which seems befitting consider my disposition toward the original, though not terribly memorable. In this game you are still dropped from insane heights into the battlefield and the popular multi-player feature from the original has been revamped after listening to fan feedback.
“Prejudice comes with epic multiplayer maps, new game modes and missions, and a huge arsenal of weapons. The all-new single-player campaign follows the story of Captain Alex Corde and the 8th Armored Infantry–known as Section 8 for their willingness to take on extremely dangerous missions. Old hatreds run deep for the enemies of Section 8.” says Game Designer Mark Yetter

This is good option for those looking for some sci-fi action but didn’t enjoy the Vanquish demo at all.
