With the growing advent of touchscreen devices you would think people have all but forgotten about tactile keyboards, it seems there are still a few who just don’t have the thumbs for buttonless typing. The Nuu Mini Key device tried and failed to be what everyone needed out of such a device. Now, the TK-421 QWERTY case finally steps up to the challenge.
The device itself connects via bluetooth, so it is no so forgiving on the battery life, but the sacrifice may seem worth it to some. It works by swivelling out from under the iPhone similar to the T-Mobile Sidekick and a dedicated number row. The TK-421’s design and invention is credited to ThinkGeek, the popular geek gadget online retailer. It sells on the ThinkGeek website for $50 which is a decent price for a highly usable and sleek looking device, which will ship in limited quantities Mid-November of this year. Check out the swivel action after the break.
