New Alan Wake DLC, New Licensed Song

New Alan Wake DLC, New Licensed Song

Chris Hernandez 19 Sep

A second DLC episode has been announced for the much-accalimed Xbox 360 game Alan Wake. Though no additional details have been mentioned, not even a release window, a single song has been leaked on the Internet that will be included in to the downloadable content.

Some people have considered knowing what the song would be for the DLC would be a spoiler, so I have decided to put it after the break, just in case. Depeche Mode’s “The Darkest Star”, a song from the band’s 2005 album Playing the Angel,  will set the tone for the forthcoming pack which will be priced at 560 MSP.

“Depeche Mode is a great fit for the upcoming Alan Wake DLC that links strongly with the game’s storyline. Having consulted with Remedy on their previous DLC “The Signal” for which we provided the song “No, I Don’t Remember” by Swedish singer-songwriter Anna Ternheim, we are thrilled to once again supply fitting and relevant music to one of the top-developers in the Nordic region.” said Andreas Olsson, VP Sales at EMI Music Publishing Scandinavia.
