A recent Twitter update from a third-party accessories maker for the Nintendo 3DS could have accidentally let slip the Japanese release date for the Nintendo 3DS.
“On November 20th, the 11 goods I designed for use with the 3DS will go on sale simultaneously. Those of you buying the 3DS, please buy them while you’re at it! This will be officially announced on the homepage eventually, lol. Best regards.”
– Keys Factory employee
Keys Factory specialize in manufacturing DS accessories such as screen guards, cases and chargers (view their catalogue). It’s not so much that this company is big name in Nintendo, it is more so their wording in the tweet, saying their products will be simultaneously released with the console. They would have some insight into the release of the 3DS to properly plan their marketing and release of the products that coincide with the console.
So, for all those anxious Japanese gamers, there will be a date on their calenders to look forward to this holiday season. It could also mean that us predominately English-speaking folk may even get to purchase it in stores before ol’ Saint Nick makes his rounds. I am being very hopeful, as I personally can not wait for this to be release, probably my most anticipated gaming release of the year.
