Capcom blames Resident Evil and DmC for financial shortfall, may cancel upcoming games

Capcom has been one of the few Japanese publishers to stay profitable throughout most of this generation, but the Osaka based company announced today that they will fail to meet their sales goals for the 2012 fiscal year.

Japanese company Tsutaya has compiled a list of the 19 games that sold the most copies in Japan during 2012, and unsurprisingly, Nintendo and Capcom dominate the chart thanks to strong sales of the latest Pokemon, Resident Evil, and Monster Hunter games.
