You’ve heard it a million times, games these days are easy. This is said often, also mocked, parodied, and cited. Is it even true? I don’t think it is at all. I think there are other underlying factors to this.

Classic games retailer GOG.com has decided to have some sales to draw attention to some games that aren’t as widely popular or as well known games like Baldur’s Gate or Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but are nonetheless excellent titles that should not be ignored.

The problem with PCs is that there is absolutely no universal standard for running games. The performance of an old game on a modern PC is completely hit and miss, it will run like a dream or shoot an error. More often the latter.
