I realize it’s been a few weeks since I’ve done a proper “Deals Roundup,” but it’s been a pretty hectic month and some other, more topical news has occupied me as of late. This week, however, Xbox Live is dishing out some major deal-age, and I simply had to make an exception. By now you’re well aware that I’m a Sega baby; so when the Blue Blur and crew is discounting titles, I’m obligated to help spread the word. In addition to a major sale on a number of Sega titles and arcade classics, Xbox Live’s “Deal of the Week” also slashes prices on a number of quality Arcade hits, so it bears special mention as well. Take a look at what’s in store for this week:

Not a bad turnout, wouldn’t you say? I’m personally picking up Space Channel 5 Part 2 and finally getting my hands on Sonic CD, a title that has eluded my grasp in every other Sonic or Sega collection that I’ve amassed over the years. Sonic Generations also comes highly recommended if you haven’t already picked up the title. For those who want a better sense of how Sonic: Lost World pays homage to Sonic titles of year’s past, Generations offers the same level of respect and nostalgia-infused goodness for the hedgehog’s history.
Do you guys and gals plan on picking up any Arcade titles or Sega games during this massive sale? Which is your favorite classic Sega franchise? If you can’t get enough of my shenanigans, (who could blame you?) you can check me out @GamingsNirvana, or add +VinnyParisi to your circles.
