Combining Humble Bundle and another Game Jam, Mojang is once again using everyone’s favorite indie game distribution service to make some games and raise some cash. If you remember it was only a few weeks ago that the now defunct THQ raised $5 Million selling off their games on the cheap. Before that Mojang held their original Humble Bundle about a year ago, raising almost $500K for charity. Well there at it again, perhaps this will be an annual event with Mojang dedicated their staff to an intense Game Jam for charity. There are a whole bunch of other titles as well in the pack and of course as always you get to choose how much to pay and who it all goes to.
As you can see there are six developers on board with this particular Humble Bundle, many of which are working in real time so those who donate can make sure they aren’t goofing off on Reddit or something. The entire list of the titles they are working on this time around can be found here and I’ll give a cookie to anyone that can give me an idea as to what a French Nuclear Spaceship game could be. It all pretty much comes down to the end of a 72-hour coding marathon that challenges the developers to get something fun and engaging into the hands of those who donate in a very short amount of time.
There’s only a few hours left for this latest humble bundle, but don’t worry if you miss it as I’m sure there are many more to come.
