Gamefly offering Unlimited PC Gaming

Gamefly offering Unlimited PC Gaming

John Sukowaty 09 Nov

Gamefly, the Netflix of gaming. Finally just like you can watch movies via disk from mail or instant on the TV, Gamefly has announced, TODAY that they now offer unlimited PC Play. If you already have an account, this will now be included as part of your membership, with no added cost. If you don’t already have a gamefly account, and love to game, i encourage you to do so. An incentive? One word, Bioshock. Yup! Bioshock is available right now and, *drum roll*.. wait for it.. wait.. for FREE!Just to clarify a few things for any readers out there that isn’t familiar with Gamefly. It is an online service that lets you browse game titles and “rent” console games with no late fees. If you choose to keep the game, you may do so with a discounted purchase price for that particular game. They have over 8,000 titles to choose from and cover the modern consoles, ie: Playstation 3, Playstation Vita, Xbox 360,Wii U, Wii, 3DS, and the Nintendo Ds. As well as some of the older ones, ie: Playstation 2, Playstation Portable (including movie selections!) the original Xbox, the Nintendo GameCube  and good ole Game Boy advance. Nice, now don’t tell me, you or someone you know doesn’t own at least one of those! And if they do, then they clearly like gaming.

Try it out with one month of free service. After that you can choose a payment plan that’s pretty darn affordable. 1 Game out at a time for only $7.98/month or 2 games out at a time for $11.48/month, however you’re only charged once every 2 months 🙂 Both plans come with the Unlimited PC Play as well! You might as well give the trial a shot, it costs nothing, includes the Unlimited PC Play, and Holla! Bioshock is FREE to download. It’s like they’re paying you to play their games and giving you a bonus!

The more you play the more you are rewarded as Gamefly has a rewards program of 3 levels. Level one is being a member for 3 months, you will then receive 5 Gamefly dollars good towards any used gamed purchase, and this is constantly rewarded every three months thereafter! Level 2 is staying a member for 6 months which gives you 5% off the purchase of used and digital games and 5 Gamefly dollars. The final level, level 3, is a solid year, 12 months+, as a member that gives you 10%off the purchase of used and digital games and another 5 Gamefly dollars.

Last but not least they have a refer-a-friend program where every friend that you recommend that signs up, gives you a month free! I wish I had more fake friends 🙁 Perhaps a Gamefly Gift Certificate to a loved one isn’t too shabby after all, they can redeem the gift card to add to their existing account or use it to create a new one. When you have a brother as picky as I have about games, you can’t go wrong with a purchase like this for a Christmas Gift!
