High Moon Studios may have just finished Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (due out in August,) but they’ve already started work on their next project: creating a game starring Marvel’s popular merc with a mouth, Deadpool.
The trailer above (courtesy of IGN) gives a feel for what the game will be like: the comics’ sense of humor seems to be intact, with Deadpool still making “bang bang” and “pew pew” noises seemingly every time he shoots, and of course, the game seems like it’ll be filled with Deadpool’s constant thought bubbles. The merc himself is once again voiced by Nolan North (best known for his roles in Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed, and… uh, pretty much every game made this generation,) who previously provided Deadpool’s voice in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Spider Man: Shattered Dimensions.
Like all of High Moon Studio’s games, the Deadpool game will be published by Activision. Activision has yet to announce a release date or even what systems the game will appear on, but if the game is half as good as High Moon’s Transformers games, then Dead heads around the world should have a lot to look forward to.
